Our Mustang Boys are headed to State! They'll be facing off against Maxwell in the 1A State Basketball Tournament, this Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 5 p.m. in Maxwell. To show our support, we've organized a rooter bus to cheer them on! A huge thank you to T&Y Bus Company for generously donating the bus and fuel to help our Mustang fans get there, and to Ray Zamora for driving the boys' basketball team at no charge to help make this possible! The bus ride is FREE, but you'll need to purchase your ticket to the game in advance. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for students (K-12), seniors, and military. Transaction fees are included in the ticket prices. Be sure to bring proof of your ticket purchase before boarding the bus! We will be stopping somewhere in Las Vegas, NM, for a quick break. *Bring some extra cash for concessions at the game and possibly stopping on the way home. *The game starts at 5 p.m., and we're estimated to return after 10 p.m. on Saturday. Please plan for someone to pick you up from the high school when we return. * Call the high school office to sign up! Let's pack the stands and cheer on our Mustangs!

Our Varsity Boys are headed to State!!! They will be playing Maxwell in the first round of state! Let’s go out and support these boys!! They need a crowd to cheer them on as they battle to get to the next round in State! Mustang Fans come on out Saturday, March 1 for some good food and great basketball! Our Mustangs will be taking on Alamo Navajo for the District Championship* game at 6:00! Please come support our boys and the Junior Class concession! We will be having Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Nachos as well as a full menu of other goodies! Can’t wait to see you there! *passes are not accepted at district games

A district* girls' basketball game is tonight at 6:00. Come cheer for the Lady Mustangs as they play the Alamo Navajo Cougars. *no passes are accepted at district games The concession stand will be open with steak quesadillas for the night's special.

Come out and Support Our Mustangs Tonight at 5 pm!

Please join us for the Senior Class Bingo tonight! Doors of the Elementary Gym will open at 5:30 pm with bingo starting at 6:00 pm. We will have a concession available. Cards are $5!!

For the safety of our students and staff, and due to forecasted single-digit and potentially sub-zero temperatures, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st, MPS will operate on a two-hour delay. Student report time is 9:45 am. Stay safe and stay warm!

UPDATE: Good Morning MPS Families, Due to the continuous weather conditions, Mountainair Public Schools is on an Asynchronous Learning Day today, Monday, 1/13/25. Currently there are 3 inches of snow out in the mountains and it's still snowing, along with icy roads in town. Teachers should be reaching out to students soon. Stay Safe and Stay Warm!
